A participant shares her experiences.

Ursula My name is Ursula Manning, and I am from St. Anne's Girls College. I joined Bopha Siyakhona in September 2008.

Thabani Ndlanzi, our soccer coach, first told us about the project Bopha Siyakhona 2010 and Beyond. I was very taken by the projects goals. I want to help unite South Africa and create a brighter future for South Africans, “one youth at the time”.

This project has proven to me that South Africa is truly a rainbow nation and that united we stand tall. I expect this project to help break down the barriers imposed by social standing and racial differences. This project has already touched the lives of dozens of South Africans.

The aims of Bopha Siyakhona are already having an impact on society and changing the way we understand our peers. I suspect that this project will grow in the next few years and have an even greater impact. I hope that our tournament can become an annual event that will involve more and more communities every year.
